Background information for Play Stamp-pad Poker

If you have played any other form of poker, the stamp pad poker rules are similar in that the object of the game is to make the best five-card poker hand. The hand rankings, from weakest to strongest, are as follows:

v  High card

v  One pair

v  Two pair

v  Three-of-a-kind

v  Straight

v  Flush

v  Full house

v  Four-of-a-kind

v  Straight flush

v  Royal Flush

How to Play Stamp-pad Poker

Each player receives one Vendor Card containing every MNRC vendor.  This card will be given to you at the door of the mixer.  You will need to visit the vendors and ask them to put a stamp on their allotted space on the vendor card.  Once you have collected 10 different stamps from ten different vendors on the vendor card, each player can trade them in for five playing cards (1 draw) at the designated table.  You can choose to keep this hand or collect 10 more stamps and trade them for a completely new set of 5 playing cards. If you are happy with your hand, it will be placed on the leader board until someone is dealt a better hand.  You may play up to four times or until your vendor card has been stamped by all the vendors.  You will be able to keep your highest hand no matter how many times you play.  Your cards will be recorded and initialed by one of the 3 judges on your vendor card at the Stamp Pad Poker Table.
